site 353 control channels

the rr database file shows that site 353 caseyville uses control channel 774.2812. my 996t shows the following: SID: 0140h-0353 774.2812 and i hear traffic from the site.

however, my 996t also shows the following: SID: 0140h-0353 774.2850 and i hear traffic from the site.

the 774.2850 freq is not listed in the rr database for site 353 nor is it listed in the carma file for site 353.

any suggestions as to why the site is using two control channels.

The 774.2850 is probably actually 774.28125, the scanner is receiving it slightly off frequency. They are close enough that scanners will often receive it as well as if it were on the exact channel.
