I have two questions regarding this matter...

1.) What determines the order in which sites appear in a multi site system (assuming they all have the same QK assigned)?

2.) Is there a way to manipulate that order.

Thanks!

P.S. I guess I can apply the same question to ProScan, but my main interest is currently with FreeScan.

Using my ProScan, before uploading, change the order of the sites in the ProScan database tree by dragging (or Delete and Paste) the site nodes to where you want them.

When uploading, use upload option "Delete All Systems In Scanner" if an existing system in the scanner. Upload option doesn't care if new system and therefore not in scanner.

Excellent! Thank you, sir.

One other quick question... Is there a way to import my FreeScan data into ProScan, without using the radio as an intermediate? I searched but couldn't find anything on that.

Thank you, again.

The only way I see is at the channel level. Export Freescan data to a text file then use the ProScan Get Clipboard function. Create a new system, site(s), group(s) first. The RadioReference database may be more up to date so it may be better to get the data there using the Import RadioReference function or the Get Clipboard function.

I've really started to dig in and use ProScan on my personal scanner and the one at work. It's a great programming tool. I'm glad I talked the company into buying a license for me. It has really made programming my radios very easy.
