Site Suggestion Just A Thought

Since the majority of us all got scanners and listen in on them and here and there we here a Amber alert.
I wanted to see if radio reference would add on a thread were we can post a missing person's thread and help with the Amber Alert people , and maybe they will sponsor radio reference or even spread the word about radio reference by doing this cause I got a friend who has been missing for 5 years and would love to try to bring her back home and maybe get some closure for her family , as far as her were abouts or any information leading to her disappearance
So I am asking can we add a thread for missing People you never know how much it might help out and what it might mean to people. I mean what could it hurt for us to be able to post a thread about a missing person or Exploited children

I dunno about this one. If someone has information about a missing person shouldn't they call the authorities instead of posting it to a message board?

I can see maybe allowing a post asking folks to help find someone in the regional forums, but it should direct people with information to call the authorities directly rather than post a reply.

Well true to some of that but if the Missing persons unit has already put them on TV, then I just thought it wouldn't hurt to be able to post it in a thread as well , the more people are aware the better off. cause you never know I could post this girl and someone on here might be like dang I seen her and then they can contact the local authorities to investigate the person to see if it is her cause she went missing in Charlotte , NC but that does not mean she is still in NC she could be anywhere I'm just saying that just by chance someone might be able to recognize her and contact the poster in a PM and then they could call the local Police to help out with it or both.
But if Radio reference does not want to make a section for this will they allow me to post my friend in a forum on here ??? and if so were would be the proper place to do this ?? cause I want everyone in the US to be able to view it not just in a state regional thread.
I mean it was just a thought. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF I CAN POST HER THANKS

All Amber Alerts are automatically added to the Amber Alert website, why not just link to that? I don't think RR is the place to do it.

Well the friend I am looking for is a adult now she has been missing for 5 years now and the family and I just wants some closure they are just now reopening the case and I just thought it would not hurt but all I ask is put your self in this girls family shoes for a min. wouldn't you try to do everything you could to bring her back home even if you was on a forum like this everything helps !!!
