It happened a couple of weeks ago or so, and it may happen again today. Something happened to something in the South Sound area radio system, so the normal trunking went down and the dispatchers told everyone to switch to "site trunking". After that happened, I don't hear anything until the problem is fixed and everyone switches back to normal trunking.
Like I said above, they are possibly having the same, or similar problem today, because they put out a warning that they might have to switch to "site trunking".
So, I'm wondering if anyone knows what this means and what I would/could do to still listen to the action until they switch back to normal trunking.
I primarily use my Pro-97 for scanning, but I have a Pro-43 that I can use while "site trunking" is going on, I just can't follow any conversations and don't know exactly who is talking.
