So from what i have seen, Six Flags (Jackson NJ) use a mix of the following

Kenwood tk-3160
Motorola ht1000
Motorola cp200
Motorola cp200d
Motorola ht750
Motorola xpr3300
Motorola xpr3500
Motorola cdm750 w/ repeater setup cable in back
We have a total of 70 radios in that office alone, not including at our other dispatch room.
unless im missing something is anyone aware of any dmr use? I have sat on every channel and haven’t found anything using dmr unless they decided to move to dmr capable due to it being the only available cheap option they were given

Out of the 8 radio models you list, only 3 are capable of DMR. The Cp-200d I believe DMR is a paid option.

I would be surprised if you DID hear DMR in use.

I got informed they are in the process of switching over the security channel to DMR in the near Future utilizing the cp200d’s, xpr3300 and xpr3500 radios along with swapping the dmr radios from other departments and giving the department they swapped with the analog radios security doesn’t need

Currently none of their FCC licenses show DMR emission. That however usually does not stop an agency from switching from analog to digiatal DMR. The key here when the switch is made will it be in the clear?

They are going to add DMR emissions to their license and are going to reallocate all DMR capable radios to the security department. This is projected to take full effect and be in full time use by next year

Dorney Park in Allentown has a mix of DMR radios for security/medical and admin most ride ops and services since employees can not take care of $600 radios stay on conventional repeaters and cheap radios. Have a feeling great adventure does the same or departments do what they want in line of radios?

They had plans to upgrade their security department to DMR and be operational this year, however due to certain issues i can not address they have not been able to upgrade. As far as i know most other departments use kenwood tk-3160’s but as stated it is a mix so it all depends. As far as i know each department can decide what radios they get as long as it works with their current system but I don’t know too much about that part of it

Nice to see that nothing has changed since i dispatched there. Though it wouldnt surprise me if they went encrypted on 4, there was much talk of it while i was there due to concerns of scanners being able to listen in
