I enjoy trying to find and label all the individual uids that show up on the system. I was wondering if there are others that are doing the same as well. If there is interest, I willing to try to set up a google document where we all can contribute to the uid list.

Mine so far is in open office , with the uid list in both uniden and gre format.
I am focusing on EMS FIRE Police uid ( not counting rcmp or other encrypted)

Thanks. I see what you have developed in your "User Talk:Ve5wil" page. That's a good start, especially with table-format, so that others can easily read it, and help maintain the list.

But, please note that usually, unless invited to do so, other people won't edit pages you develop in your User-space, because it is considered your "development-area", etc.

  • If you would like to copy-paste the work you have done so far into the public-page linked earlier in this thread, here is the direct-link to the "User ID Information" section on that page:
Provincial Public Safety Telecommunications Network RID/UIDs#User ID Information

I encourage you to go ahead and copy-paste the list to the public page, because others will feel more comfortable editing the list there than in your user-space.

  • Also, if you want to enable table-borders on the tables you have created, you can using this syntax in the first line of each table:
    Code:
    {| [color="red"]border="1"[/color]

Hope this helps,

You're certainly welcome.

Thanks for sharing the UID lists. I just removed the place-holder note from the first-line of the UID section, and also updated the subsection-headings so they are listed at the correct heading-level in the table-of-contents.

If you might be interested in reading more about Wiki-editing, please look at the RR Wiki Category:Wiki Editing FAQ page to see a list of related articles that give guidance, hints, etc.

Please feel free to ask questions about Wiki-editing in the Wiki-forum. You can get some very good advice there. I have.

Thanks again and good job!

PM Sask visit U-IDs

On April 26th 2016 Prime Minister Justin Trudeau traveled from Regina to a private meeting
with just over 100 First Nations leaders at the Treaty Four Governance Centre located in
the town of Fort Qu'Appelle Saskatchewan.

A small group of about 60 to 70 mostly First Nations people waited just outside of the TFGC
to see the PM.

The PM was at the location for over an hour.

All the communications were encrypted. This is what I got with Unitrunker and SDR 820T.

The action all started about 2 PM and by 5 PM there were 86 F-Division HQ RCMP members
that had Login/Join to PPSTN site number 71.

All RIDs start with 221#### and the Talkgroup used was 42 TAC #7.

UID 18 on PPSTN

For those using Unitrunker that see the RID of 18 showing up as a message this is an Emergency button push made from the previous/following RID. Also patches like 2030 to 2050 do not show up on the patch list page of Unitrunker. Thanks for Wiki page updates.

Re unitrunker and patches... obvious question, do you have the patches box checked? I see the occasional patch group show up on mine.

As far as RCMP ids ' I was going to leave them out as they are encrypted, however I did put the ones that were identified on the Pasqua tower site before encryption

Yes I do have the patches box selected.
I will be placing all the UID's here that are encrypted so that everyone will have a greater understanding of what is going on. For example when Local RCMP traffic services is on duty or local conservation officers are working in the provincial park. Even with encryption we can all have a greater understanding. Today I can see RCMP URT is out at Katepwa lake. Watch the news today.

that was a drowning :(
I got three katepwa fire ids going up shortly

With the RCMP encryption, how do you know its a traffic services unit vs general duty, vs major crimes etc unit unless you have identified the id before they were encrypted?
