I live in NW Indiana and I just heard a dispatch for King County FD. According to Wikipedia, the only 2 King Counties in the U.S are in Texas and Washington.

What frequency? That might narrow it down a bit.

I'm not 100% sure. I heard it, and by the time I looked at the screen, all I got was a glimpse, but I think it was either: 158.9100 or 159.1500, but when I looked at the database under King County for both Washington and Texas it's not listed, so I'll try to keep my eyes open this time if I hear it again.

Over the years I have found a lot of skip from Texas, not too much for Washington. i used to listen a lot to the Dallas Texas Fire Dept. when they were on low band.
