Skipping a frequency in a bank

I've got a 2nd hand Pro-106 and like it. However, the one frequency range I monitor has a particular frequency that stops my scan and forces it to be manually resumed. Without owning the software and cable, is there a way to blank or skip this one particular frequency? The unit was pre-programmed for me.

I think I would lock it out before I deleted it, to make sure that one is the problem.

Press Func > L/Out to keep it from scanning again after you power it off then on again.

Pressing just L/Out will lock it out 'Until' you cycle the power again.

Cable from Radio Shack 20-047 its around 35 dollars I think.

Software from here, 30 day trial (but you will buy it)

Win500: PSR-500, PSR-600, PRO-106, PRO-197 Scanner Software for Data Management, Monitoring, and Control

It will make all the difference in programming this radio.
