Bought one to try and I must say I am impressed.
I compared it to the GRE 3001 amp I have and the
Skywalker is more sensitive and does not overload like the GRE amp does.
its 25db vs the GRE 20db but the sensitivity on the skywalker is much much better.
The only thing I don't like is there is no On/Off switch, but I plan on putting in a switch, it's been on all day and it is still just room temp, but I would rather shut it off when it's not being used.
For less then $20.00 and the GRE at $50.00+, I will be buying another Skywalker amp.
Your situation is probably different then mine so the information given above is in regards to MY APPLICATION and LOCATION, your experience may differ.(no, it was not tried on digital garbage)
Here is the info.
Skywalker Signature Series SKY38323 25dB Amplifier VHF/UHF/FM w/variable gain (SKY38323) from Solid Signal
