Did you try RadioShack/The Source? I seem to recall seeing some SMA connectors when I was there last week. Beats waiting on shipping :)

Otherwise I would check out Ebay, I've seen a number of sellers that have connectors/adaptors for good prices.

Also, by the looks of it, in the second pic there, looks like a PL-259 connector, not sure tho, its hard to see in that picture.

The pictures are not large or clear enough to tell for sure.

Best/cheapest are mutually exclusive. Want the best? Try Pasternak. Cheap? Try eBay. If you want the worst quality at a mediocre price, go on to Radio Shack.

The first picture looks like a FME end on the cable, for putting on any type of connector, its like a quick change system for RF connectors.

I can't tell on the cradle but it looks like SMA. If it has a open center connector and threads on the outside then its a female, if it has threads on the outside but a pin in the center then its a reverse SMA.

Could also be TNC, hard to tell with that small picture.

SMA adapter... you left out what you wanted to adapt. I don't want to assume, but are you trying to go from SMA to BNC???? If so... BNC Adapters. Look at #0292
