Small plane crash ocala

OCALA, FLORIDA.... approx 2 minutes ago ( 12:29 pm on Friday, Jan 27th) a plane has crashed west of 60th Avenue, on SW 38th in Ocala. Additional calls to dispatch report that there are survivors, walking away from the crash... injuries are also being reported, and Fire dispatch has been alerted, Code 3 Alert Plane Crash and responding at this time.

at this time, I am monitoring OPD OFR MCSO and MCFR.

status of victums, most are out of the plane, and it sounds as if there may be one fatality, but not yet confirmed. Radio comms do not report the size of the plane as of yet, however, fire personel at the scene are currently extinguishing grass fires around the plane area.

at this time, the chief reports that this took place with-in county lines, therefor there may be MC radio transmissions on new talkgroups that we haven't heard before, so I will continue to monitor. MCFR units on scene are operating on Fire Scene 2

1:07 pm, command reports to dispatch that they are confirming one signal 7 (DOA) at this crash site.

Command reports that the Pilot of the plane is the DOA, there was one survivor, making it a total of two persons that were on this plane, apparently that survivor (occupant) is an ALS patient and taken to the hospital, there was one BLS patient ( a bystander, someone who tried to assist in removing the Pilot ) and there were 4 refusals to go to the hospital, probably more bystanders or airport personel, who attempted to help at the scene.
