Earlier this morning, about 10:15am, I heard callsigns Caesar, Caesar1, Caesar2 and Bigfoot in Central Louisiana across four frequencies, 271.0, 299.600, 262.950, 261.300. Caesar1 did a radio check with "Houston" on 299.600 and they were involved with an intercept of a smaller plane with two pilots. They were actively communicating across multiple frequencies - a plane would speak on one frequency and be answered on another. Signals were very strong on all of these. Can't tell if it's a training exercise or not and I see none of these on ADSB. Thoughts?

Have Quick? "a plane would speak on one frequency and be answered on another."

CAESAR is the Louisiana 159th Fighter Wing ANG F-15 aircraft out of Navy New Orleans. Interesting how you were hearing one transmission on one frequency and the reply on another. I haven't ever heard that done before. I thought at first it might be frequency hopping, Have Quick, transmissions but that switches frequencies very rapidly and based on time and not when somebody starts and stops transmitting. I'm guessing that 299.6 was Houston Center ARTCC.
