Hello All, I am in the Fort Smith AR area. I can monitor an NXDN system, (Smith Two Way radio -Washington county AR) using a Uniden BCD436HP & an SDS100. However, at my home listening location, the SDS100 won't following the trunking, but the 436HP will follow the trunking while at home. Both are programmed exactly the same using Sentinel, and both share the same antenna via a Stridsberg multicoupler. I have swapped antenna cables, but that changed nothing.

Strangely, the SDS100 seems to have better signal strength with that system than the 436HP, but still won't follow the trunking. If I go mobile with the SDS100, (closer to the nearest tower site), the SDS100 will follow the trunking.

Any thoughts?

Thanks.

Have you purchased the NXDN upgrade key for the SDS100? You have to have one for each radio.

I'm assuming you already have, just checking...

By "won't follow the trunking", do you mean it is entirely unmonitorable (ie, silence), or you're hearing audio traffic but it seems like a conventional system, ie not trunking?
I would check the following:
Do you have those service types enabled?
Do you have GPS coordinates somehow enabled, and it's outside your area?
Do you have the trunking parameters set up correctly?
