SNAKE Callsign

Hey Guys,
Anyone hear of the callsign "SNAKE" and where they are from? I heard them on 138.175 talking about the lightning show they are watching.
They actually switched from 138.075 to 138.175.

There are a number of Snake's across the country but if you are in the Toronto area my guess would be the 174 (NY) or 177 (NJ) Fighter Wing

I'd go with the 174th. They are a lot closer to Toronto and there were thunderstorms over central NY last night.

Thanks for the reply guys. Actually I looked at the radar at the time they mentioned and the thunderstorms where over Ontario, so they must have been close to it.

I remember that there was a list of callsigns in the wiki, but for the life of me can't find the list.

It could be,but not likely The Florida air national guard. I forget what aircraft tho.

Indiana also uses Snake as a callsign, as do anti-drug teams in the Gulf
