sneaky discretes and hidden trunking controls

Has anyone ever heard a trunked control channel placed in the transmit block of frequencies 806-824?? These normally are paired to the higher band 851-869

Or how about bona-fide discretes TX/RX in the 806-824 band (non-paired with the uppers) ?

The scanners now have to made to have the ability to trunk these control channels. I believe im not hearing a spurious rejection from a control channel normally located between 856-860 around me. Im thinking the control channel was placed there on purpose.

Basically, has anyone out here identified things as this with the police ??? John.

Just a thought -- try to hear the signal on another scanner. That should give you a better indication if it's an image or not.

The fixed-end equipment doesn't allow for this so what you are hearing is an image.

There's also no subscriber equipment to date that allows transmit and receive on the 806 input band.
