Anyone listening to Sno PUD lately? I've got the Trunked system programmed in... I can hear the control channel, but not hearing any activity. Multiple powerlines down right now, with the wind so was expecting to hear activity.

Are they using something different besides the Trunked system?

Pud is coming in load and clear for me, What kind on scanner do you have? you need to keep it in the open mode not all of the talkgroups are listed in the database. the ones that are there, I logged years ago, right now I am useing my PSR-500 useing wild cards and its working fine, right now 16048 is very active. I will add that to the database.

Both my BCD996T and BCT15 were not receiving, so it's obivously something I need to tweak in the programming. I originally downloaded the system from RR right into BCTool. We'll see if my updates fixes it.

How active is the system? I'll leave BCTool running, and logging activity for me until tomorrow evening... crosses fingers it works.

Thanks for the help guys!

Thought I'd follow-up. Over the past 24 hours, didnt get any hits.... so either i've still got the system messed up or there hasn't been any activity. Both the BC15 and the BCD996 are not receiving it. The radios are working otherwise as I can pick up all my the other systems (SERS, King CO, etc).

I am located in the Mill Creek area and the antenna is a Discone upon the roof... I can hear the PUD Control Channel. I've got it programmed as Motorolla Type 2, and ID Search (i.e. Open).

This is the only 900mhz Motorolla system I've got programmed,so not sure if that requires any other unique settings?

So either there isn't a lot of activity on the system, or I still have it messed up.... I'll keep monitoring, but open to any other suggestions.

Again, thanks!!!

Be sure to set the system type as Motorola 900. There is a very active telemetry channel that will be easy to pick up when you get it right.

If you, get any stuff that you would like to see added to the database, let me know, when I was working this system, the talkgroup DEC.. stuff was all over the place, very hard to nail down. my list goes on for at least 30 plus DEC. talkgroups.

Sounds good.

And, thank you Ken for all the work you do keeping the databases up to date. Thanks to you, you make it very easy to program the systems!
