I'm trying to set up a Uniden P996-P2 scanner and I have the East Simulcast program the control channel they have listed
is 853.925 I have that in the scanner. However I have a frequency 853.7625 that keeps coming up It is not listed in the data base
Did they get a new control channel? or is there something else going on? I could be out of range maybe

You're off slightly. It's 853.75 -- one of its alternate frequencies. If your 996P2 is centering on that frequency then it's in need of a calibration.

You need to program the red control channel plus the blue alternate frequencies. The control channel may switch to one of the alternate frequencies, which it has done in this case. 853.75 is one of the alternate frequencies.

THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!

I got it!!! both scanners seem to be working I had 2 scanners, that I was programing for a friend of mine, and when I went to do the reband
I was using the wrong band plan the splinter 800-900 and not the custom I missed read the manual. What confused me a bit was someone telling me I had to do a calibration, and I never heard of it before After 3 hours I figured it out
SO much for watching NETFLIX
once again thanks everyone for the help!!!and replies
