Snows starting to fly, so ya know what that means. The City Road crews and WSDOT plows are active once again.I heard the King Co Road crew plows out last night in the Snoqualmie/north Bend areas. Also means WSP and city PD's and FD's will be active with plenty of Crashes. Some people just can't slow down for anything.. Have to learn the hard way. I heave heard the following active recently and last year during winter.

20880 Bellevue Citywide 2
20912 Bellevue Citywide 1

26448 KC Roads Dept1
26480 KC Roads Dept2
26512 KC Roads Dept3
26544 KC Roads Dept4
26576 KC Roads Dept5

Also don't forget come Monday, School buses (if schools are still active right now) are a good source of road condition info.
as well as Metro buses for road condition reports... Be safe, have fun Happy Holidays!

Olympia got hit pretty hard. Yesterday there were about 60 accident calls and about 30 reports of subjects on snowmobiles & atvs or being pulled by sleds

I drove back north from Centralia a few mins ago, it was backed up southbound from mp91 to about mp 99. Saw 2 umarked state whImpalas at the scene, one newer, one older(wsp045) and others. TCSO was requiring chains on "Chain Hill" north of Tenino

We got hit pretty good here in the Newcastle area as well. Have not seen many plows though. the 2 i have seen all day come by this way didn't even have the blades down and no sand flying. Can't figure out for the life of me why or how they seem to be so terrible with the plowing of roads around here. Guess its just that same old mentality that "it doesn't snow that much here" Well it has been pretty much this same way for the last 2-3 winters. You think they might learn.. oh well it sure it sure is beautiful when it does snow though. The scanner has been non-stop with slide-off and spin out calls as well as blocking metro buses. Saw a guy on a snowmobile here today as well. Happy Holidays and Merry christmas to all...

lol, I know what you mean.

A friend of mine had his car snowed in, so he took his quad to the store.

I'm up on top of Beacon Hill, and pretty well trapped up here.

I plowed snowed tonight with my Subaru foz. It's nasty out there. I think we have a foot of snow now. The state is only responding to blocking and injury accidents since this afternoon
