SNOWBIRDS FlyBy - Regina Feb 15 2008 12:10 pm

FYI, the Canadian Forces SNOWBIRDS will be doing a flyby over Victoria Park in downtown Regina at 12:10 pm on Friday Feb 15, 2008. This corresponds to a tribute to the 10th anniversary of the Sandra Schmirler Olympic gold medal win, as well as a tribute to the Canadian Armed Forces. Following the flyby, there will be another brief ceremony in the Cornwall Centre.

I do not know how many of the SNOWBIRDS aircraft will be involved in the flyby, but it might be worth watching and listening. I would monitor Regina Tower on 118.6, as well as the SNOWBIRDS air to air frequency, usually 272.1 if you have a Mil Air capable scanner.

And this is also part of the Opening Ceremonies for the Scotties Tournament of Hearts, in which, Sandra Schmirler was a past participant and multi winner. Go Team Alberta.
