BCFY has deleted my calls feed. Apparently no data was received for a month, yet I never got a notification that it was down; on the SDRTrunk box at home it's just fine and says connected every time I look at it.

So, I'm done with BCFY Calls for awhile. I’ve got more important things to do than check the thing six ways from Sunday every evening just to see if it’s still working. I'll re-apply and put it back on line once I've got more important projects out of the way.

I check my bcalls node in the manage bcalls.
I check it once a day, some people might have an issue clicking 1 link to make sure everything is going good, but I don't have an issue since the website server will tell me if it's up or down. If it's down, then I typically just have to restart sdrtrunk and it'll go good again.

Is it still considered beta?
The Calls version of SDRTrunk is always in beta, as nearly as I can tell. I have the most recent version and it was working fine for quite some time... or at least until a month ago when it evidently quit working for no apparent reason.

I check my bcalls node in the manage bcalls.
So do I and I also periodically check the box at home as well, but that's my point. . . . I shouldn't have to go to that extent every day just to make sure my Calls feed is working; my "normal" feeds have worked flawlessly for years. Like I said earlier, when I checked the box at home from time to time it was running fine, receiving calls, and the BCFY section said connected, so I had no reason to believe it wasn't working. It appears that wasn't true.

In any case, I don't have time right now to fool around with it, so it will just have to wait until more pressing issues are taken care of. Once I get to that point I may give the BCFY Raspberry Pi image a try and see how it goes.

I do understand. I was at the point where I was going to stop feeding bcalls because SDR Trunk kept crashing daily. I don't know what I did but it's been going for almost a month straight - it will go down again at some point, but still.

I have been using v0.5.0-alpha2 for my calls feed and it runs 24/7/365 without issues, except if the computer it is running on reboots for an update (Mac Mini) or I restart the program. About the only other time is if I need to do something with that computer then I will switch it to my windows box running the same version that streams the 'normal' feed. I tried to update to the latest version Denny put out and either I messed something up or it was something in the program but I had to go back to the alpha2 version, which messed up the playlist as the newer version isn't backwards compatible, so copied the playlist from the windows box back to the mac and was back up and running. Once you get to where you can mess with it again, give it another try. I have yet to find a program with the audio clarity and performance like sdrtrunk. I just wished there was a way to run multiple instances of it as I run sdr trunk on 2 machines (I know I can just stream off of one machine for both feeds) and I run Unitrunker for a private feed. The audio clarity on sdrTrunk is way better than UniTrunker. I haven't messed with the raspberry Pi stuff as there is too many programs to deal with to stream. Someday I may look into it myself to see how it does but for now I am sticking to where I am as it is very reliable except for internet going down, power outage, etc.
