Anyone got any updates for the rest of Genesee Co. medcom TG's (12211-12220). I just heard something briefly on 12211 but nothing identifying.

And why does Swartz have its own pair of TG's instead of using 12209-12220 like everyone else?

Also any idea of the Genesys Health Park HEARN TG? (I heard Hurley yesterday but still haven't picked up anything the supposed McLaren one).

Because they are going to dispatch over them soon.

well duh but why cant they just use the GCMCA ones and why do they need their own? Why can't they share with the rest of the county, instead of being the lone shark in Genesee Co. (like Flint PD and FD who have their own independent radio system).

Each agency in Genesee County has their own Dispatch Talkgroups. Be it their own or they are on the Fire Dispatch talkgroup or PD uses the Police Talkgroups. Either way, a ambulance company that operates independently must have a way of dispatching their own units. If they chose the MPSCS then they get a dispatch talkgroup. The other MED channels or talkgroups are available for all licensed BLS and ALS providers for that specific county.

I just wanted to know who is going to use which one and when but I guess I'd need a crystal ball for that.

The medcom talkgroups that have been shown on the site are under the direction of the med control board. The ambulance companies are independent companies.. So they can request there own talkgroups for how they see fit from the state. who they pay the mic fees too... And just like now they use there own VHF/UHF freqs for dispatch. As for the genesis hospital talkgroup i have been running pro96com for about a week on the simulcast system and have an idea what it will be.. But won't publish till i catch a keyup or 2 more.

What's the deal with the sound levels of Regional EMS? it sounds like they scream at the top of their lungs! they must have the mic input volumes up way too high.
