External SPEAKER?
No SOUND?
How is the external speaker powered: Wall power? USB? Volume adjusted adequately on the TRX-2?

Oh I thought he wanted the spark so the TRX-2 would give birth to a son, thanks for clarifying Wasn't sure how the light socket was a part of that.

So did you figure it out, Fred? If not, does any other device work when plugged into the speaker(s)? It's all about trial and error. If other devices work with speaker(s) then focus on the scanner. Make sure volume is adjusted. Do you have wired headphones at your disposal to plug into the scanner? Do they work?

Perhaps @Whistler_Support will add that feature to a future release....expect it'll take at least 9 months though ;-)

Requirements are...have the head phone port set to AUDIO not IF output (see ezscan advanced features tab, set the audio output to IF OFF.)

Next use a stereo 3,5mm jack.

Turn volume up,
