I just bought my first scanner BC796D and I am brand new to scaning, is the software that came with the scanner any good or should I buy something else, if so please suggest something and let me know why it is better. :?:

ARC250 software from Butel, highly recommended by it's users:

I use ScanControl from 3D Technologies, very nice if you have different model Uniden scanners:
