Software and cable list for Uniden &Radio Shack Digital

Is there a list I can print for needed software and cables for programming all Uniden and Radio Shack digital and trunking scanners?

Radio Reference has some pages that detail what software works with what scanners.

I don't think there is a cable reference, since a lot are just USB compatible but I could be wrong.

No list I know of, but it's pretty simple:
Uniden post 296 to XT series - USB-1 or stock Serial cable
HP-x series and newer - standard Mini USB cable

GRE/Whistler:
I think they all use the same programming cable, but newer ones might be standard Mini USB as well.

The above is likely why there is no page dedicated to such a small list.

Radio Shacks newest scanners use this cable..

Radio Shack 20-546 USB-PC Scanner Programming Cable.

I have the Radio Shack cable 20-289 serial to 1/8 inch phone plug and the GRE 30-3290 (Radio Shack 20-047) serial cables. Do these work on any newer scanners?

I also have generic USB to large and small connectors for other equipment. Will they work for scanners?

I have older RS cables & ICOM cables. they might let you upload to a radio but not download and the win500 monitor/control functions may not work or any combination thereof. That was my experience with the PRO651. I could upload but not download with the older cable. I bought the 20-546 cable.

GRE 30-2090 cable works with PRO651/652 A search on the Internet will bring up suppliers. I bought mine from the Midwest. They also had the correct driver on their site.
