Software Recomendations for SC230?

I've read the wiki at http://wiki.radioreference.com/index.php/SC230 and there appears to be a variety of software for this scanner, which I just got.

Are there any independent reviews and/or comparisons between them?

What about the lite v.sport versions?
The lite is cheaper and apparently has everything but the

Virtual Control
Data logging/history
Closecall/Subtone logging

whaterver those are.

The lite version is great if you just want to program the radio and head for the race, or change System memories for going out of town or on a trip.

If you want to use the 230 for other things, such as logging when you are away from home at work, or use Close call to find nearby srong signal frequencies, or Subtone (CTCSS/DCS) logging.

It sounds like the lite would work for me. I'm going to check with them to see if I can upgrade from the lite to the full version later on, if i decide to.
