Just pricing them online right now and until now the hceapest ive found it for is 99 dollars. I have found it on ebay also for 63 dollars after shipping. Is this a good deal for this antenna?

Go to www.copper.com They have the original A99 its only $39.95 It' s the best and you don't need the add on kits, from what i have heard from others they don't make much noticable improvement. The ones you are looking at are more expensive but from comments from friends who have tried both you can't beat the original.

Good advice above. Copper has darn good prices and fast shipping. Dittos on the ground plane kits, save your money, you don't need them. Also, if you decide to upgrade your radio down the line, Copper is a good place to start. If you call them they will send you a paper catalog, too.

Also, since your other CB thread got locked, here are a couple of good CB forums that will happily answer any newbie questions you have regarding setting stuff up, power supplies, antennas, SWR, etc.
