The wife and I will be camping there this spring. Last weekend we drove to the annex to look around. The camping office (on the right hand side, just before you go in the gate) had several antennas on the back end of the building. They did not appear to be the right length for either the 400 MHz or the 380 MHz trunked systems for the base.
A search of the Calvert and Saint Mary’s databases did not provide any insight.
Anyone here know what the antennas are used for? Are there any frequencies in use specifically for the recreation complex? I was thinking they may have same conventional (business band?) frequency pairs to coordinate.
Do the DOD police at the Recreation complex use the same talk groups as the DOD Police at Patuxent River?
