Alright, well I was out and about today in Lancaster county and got bored so i scanned around for a bit. Found some interesting channels.

152.005 (LGH tones saying Trauma alert). That one interested me.

There are a few freqs I have no idea who they are, i've searched on here but didn't really find anything out...Like the channels I searched for are used in PA, but do not come from Lancaster County. The freqs below were picked up near the buck/Holtwood area, I had to go down there today so I figured i'd take the scanner.

158.940 somewhat clear. Forget what was said exactly.
151.940
155.625
155.250
152.720
159.600 (lots of chatter).
159.730

860.7125
858.4625
585.2125
857.2125
These 800mhz ones had ALOT of chatter sounded like police on most of them. On the Database I've checked Maryland and like one comes back to both PG County, and then that same one and the rest were coming back as Baltimore County Maryland...Is that possible to be getting these in that area crystal clear?

Thanks for any info.

Yes, very possible. The whole of Lancaster County is on a huge slope and the downside is facing towards the south (Maryland). So most freqs to the south will come in good. Just like I bet if you had an FM radio on over there you'd pick up Baltimore stations clear as day (I do from almost reading) and you'd probably pick up some DC stations too. Not to mention from there you're only no more than 20 miles from northern Baltimore county and they have towers near the PA line for the county TRS.

Yeah I thought it was maryland because I also started to get some NOAA weather channels from around that area.
