I wanted to start scanning here in OKC but Ive been told that OKC is going to EDACS W/ APCO-25 Digital Pro-Voice and there is no scanner that will decode that, should I just forget about it and move on or is getting a pro95 still worth it?

EDACS is digital right?

What else would there be to scan with a pro95 and OKC in EDACS W/ APCO-25 Digital Pro-Voice?

The new OKC EDACS system is going to be a mixture of analog voice and digital Provoice channels.

Provoice is a type of digital modulation that currently no scanner can decode. That being said, there is a ton of of other stuff to scan in OKC so go buy a scanner!!!

Go get a Pro-95 and then download Win95 (free) and here is a P95 file of OKC and some surrounding cities.

It was made over 6 months ago, so some of it has changed.

How does the Pro-95 do picking up Tinker Air-Traffic Control and those crazy AWACS.
