It not outdated either because one of the files tells you not to buy a scanner that you have to switch crystals to get different frequencies.

mmm...the last crystal controlled scanner I bought was over 20 years ago...plenty of scope for the files to be significantly out of date if only a few years old!

I bought a Bearcat Thin Scan 6 channel scanner with my first money as a teenager. That was one sweet system.

The links are a pretty good compilation of some aged files. I had hard copies of some of that stuff 15 years ago. It is still interesting reading - takes me back to my old 10 channel scanner days.

I remember some of this stuff from my BBS days 12 years ago. Was some great info back then but it's aged.... definately, don't consider any frequency resource to be accurate on there.

Great catch though!
