Some updates to Yavapai County, Arizona
  • Congress, Crown King, Mayer, Skull Valley, and Williamson Valley - Bagdad fire districts have formed the Yavapai County Fire Consortium, and are now dispatched by the Prescott Regional Communications Center. Previously they were dispatched by the Rural Metro/AMR/Life Line comm center.
  • Dispatches are on PRCC Channel 1- 154.160/146.2 PL.
  • Responses are on the department’s local repeaters. Units will check on and generally switch to the Command West frequency/146.2 or Command East 151.1675/123.0 PL as appropriate.
(Some of these repeaters may be linked similar to the way they were under Rural Metro – I am unable to hear anything except Command West and the Mayer channels.)
  • Yarnell is now dispatched by AMR/Life Line on the Yarnell repeater 155.655/162.2 PL
  • I have not found out who dispatches Peeples Valley. I suspect it’s the same as Yarnell.
The AMR/Life Line Ambulance system is now a NXDN single channel system on some or all of these frequencies: 151.5425, 152.3450, 152.4050, 153.2600, 159.5550, 160.0650, 160.0875, 160.1700. I have heard NXDN 4800 traffic related to AMR/LLA units on 152.345, probably Mingus Mtn.

Priority Ambulance Arizona has changed their branding to Copperstate Ambulance, servicing Yavapai and Coconino counties. In Yavapai they are dispatched by the Prescott Regional Communications Center, still using the Priority ### designator.

As far as I know, Yarnell and Congress both are dispatched out on the Williamson Yarnell repeater, 155.520 - 131.8. I can't even remember the last time I heard anything on LL's 159.555, but I will set it to record for a week or so and see if it picks up anything.
