• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

If you violate these guidelines your post will be deleted without notice and an infraction will be issued. We are not against discussion of this issue. You just need to do it in the right place. For example:

That is too crazy! That is Sears' liquidation page (returned open box). It's only a 30GB! and already over $400!!!!

You can buy a brand new one at Sears for a lot less. http://www.sears.com/sr/javasr/product.do?cat=Portable+Electronics&pid=05791115000&vertical=ELEC&subcat=iPods+&+iPod+Accessories&BV_UseBVCookie=Yes

People can't be that dumb can they? Why do people not research what they are buying? I feel bad for the one that wins that thing.

most crazy things on ebay are only funny because of what the item is PLUS how many bid and what the wining bid is

The only people that got 'screwed' in this case were the Searsliquidation, because they shouldn't allow 0 or - feedbacks to bid, thus they turn into a who can get the highest before they close or it ends compitition.

That's the whole point of this thread. At first it looked like it was the buyers making dumb bids. It became painfully obvious the seller was getting hosed by some fake accounts. They will never see a penny of the sale price.
