Hello Everyone,
I am new to the trunked scanner market and I have just purchased the Uniden BCT15 for monitoring New Jersey State Police and Local Somerset County PD (Franklin Township). I went to RR and looked in the database for Somerset County and I noticed that Somerset County is also using a Trunked System. I also downloaded a program for the BCT15 named ScanControl ver 6.1 to assist me in loading the frequency into the scanner. I'm a little confused when trying to set up this program to load up my scanner. The program asks me what the system type is. I learned from RR that the system type is MOT2 but then the program asked me the site type and I'm not sure what to put. Should I put the site type as T2-800S or should I use UHF because the frequencies are in the 400 mhz range. The other question I have is; does anyone know what site 1 Simulcast means? It has several frequencies assigned to it but do I need to enter these frequencies to listen to Franklin Township PD? Any assistance would be great!!!
Thanks,
James
