Somerset REC Radio Frequency

Does anyone know the radio frequency for Somerset Rural Electric? I know their line crew trucks have radios but I'm not sure what they would be on. Any search for a FCC license came up negative. There is some VOAM Electric Cooperative, Inc. with a FCC license at SRECs address.

The license you mentioned KYS639 still shows active. Couldn't hurt to plug in those frequencies and hunt for activity. There's also a First Energy license at that site as well showing active, KNJC214

They are on a repeater 48.260 Mhz. output. The input is 47.720 Mhz. The base identifies with the callsign KYS633 on the air. I haven't listened to them much over the last year, but that's where they were when I last heard them.

I heard some traffic this morning, male voice saying something about "We'll be working at 81 today," a female responded and identified as kys633. Cool.

Yep, you have them. That is the usual morning traffic for them.

Awesome. Maybe I'll be able to know when they about to turn off the power to move the primaries over to the new poles Bottenfield is setting, if they say that stuff OTA. Thanks for the help!
