I came here to ask about Sound Beach's dispatch frequency and I see I posted alreadyin another thread from years ago about them testing 800mhz. As of 2017, I still cannot hear, nor have a channel for tones and dispatching for Sound Beach so I never know what the initial alarm is. (of course i can figure it out according to what apparatus is going out and the ensuing conversation).

I have both frequencies programmed but only hear transmissions on one of them and never hear initial tones or dispatch. :(

Any ideas or input? Thanks. I have a Pro-651.

The are currently toned on 46.46, they were simulcasting tones on one of their UHF frequencies a while back but have not heard any tone outs on UHF in a while. Also, 800 testing has been long completed so they are back on 46.40 for time being....

Not everyone tones out on their own freqs. Some tone on countywide and use their freqs for fire ground. Some do everything on their own freqs.
