I cant seem to find this listed so I am asking...I have a PSR 500 and I live in the Indianapolis area. While listening to IMPD, the sound on the scanner makes the people like they are warped out...the conversations are sometimes cut short. If you live in the area and have an idea...please email me at
kc9mhb@gmail.com

Thanks

You should see this article:

http://wiki.radioreference.com/index.php/Simulcast_digital_distortion

I found this in the MECA page in the database near the top. It also says:

sites are simulcast. If you are having issues receiving the system, see This article in the Wiki.

At this point, the GRE PSR-500/600 does the best job of receiving the system. Users of the GRE PSR-500/600 scanners should set Multisite to OFF and Supertrack to YES.

I'm guessing this may be the source of your problems.
