CENTENNIAL, Colo. -- Colorado State Patrol troopers, police officers and K-9 teams have arrested a woman who ran off after her vehicle crashed into a house in Centennial. However, police are still searching for her male passenger, who had also fled on foot.

The pursuit of the couple began when a trooper tried to stop a vehicle for speeding on Highway 85, south of E-470, in Douglas County. The female driver failed to stop even after the trooper activated his lights and siren, the CSP said.

The SUV sped away and lost the trooper for a short time. At some point the SUV flew through a stop sign, was broadsided by a minivan and that impact sent the silver Dodge Durango into a house on Clarkson Street and Arapahoe Road, the CSP said.

Police went house to house, searching for the couple in the neighborhood. Police had said they believe the man and women were armed and have active warrants.

Police seized the driver's 1999 Dodge Durango and found suspected stolen items inside.

The driver of the minivan was not seriously injured.

The names of the suspects have not been released.

Another quality article from whichever media outlet did this. I drove around all afternoon looking for where Hwy. 85 hit E-470 in Douglas County and couldn't find it! Just kidding - Hwy. 85 & E-470 hit in Adams County, and E-470 hits Hwy. 83 in Douglas County, but it is C-470 that hits Hwy. 85 in Douglas County.
