Anyone in the area want to look at this for an update?

On Thursday morning, thanks to ducting, one of my TRX radios that was searching UHF DMR in the business band found what I'm guessing was South Baldwin Regional Medical Center. Only one freq was caught, with multiple talkgroups.

This was from Gautier, MS.

464.275 (DCC-1) had plenty of hospital traffic on talkgroups 1, 2 and 3. Security, engineering, patient checkouts, etc.

Looking around, the only other hospitals I can find within a possible radius is Oschner in Jefferson, LA. Based on other things received, I'm leaning towards the Foley hit.

I'm only a few miles away from the hospital so I'll see if I hear anything. I don't have a DMR capable scanner but I can at least listen for data bursts. Having been there many times over the last decade or so, though, I can't say I've ever seen any radios in use anywhere.

Good morning,

I recently submitted the information currently listed in the RRDB for South Baldwin Regional Medical Center but had only heard traffic on 461.725. I have this system programmed as a DMR One Frequency because I received Color Code and Talk Group data. The only Color Code detected was 1 and the only Talk Group was 1001 which carried traffic from all users.

I've never heard any traffic on 462.0875 or 464.275 so this very interesting. Please let us know how you are programming this, Color Codes, and additional Talk Groups. I only live a mile away and would be in a good position to confirm.

Sorry it took me so long to reply, work and all.

I didn't have it progammed in. One of the scan lists in my TRX series of radios is UHF DMR search. It has every frequency between 451-465 programmed in, less known ones and inputs.

The 464.275 hit was from that scan list. I received about 50 recordings from it, with the 3 varying talkgroups I listed.

At the same time, I received traffic on other freqs that I tracked down to a hospital in Mobile (Infirmary) and the Water and Sewer Board, hence the supposition the hospital traffic was coming from the east of me.

To be certain, the next time I'm west to NOLA, I'll double check the Oschner Hospital system.

The past week most of the traffic received has been local, no big ducting while the radios have been on. Still waiting for more traffic.

Okay, based on traffic received last week during decent ducting, I'll admit I was in error. I'm ready to call this the Ochsner Med Center in the west NOLA area. Next time I'm over that way I'll confirm it, but the radio traffic referenced streets near the Ochsner campus as well as railroad traffic (there's a spur near their helipad).
