I was in the area today and was unable to track the South Brunswick EDACS System. The control channel was loud and clear and I could hear activity on the frequencies, just no trunk-tracking. I used the data from the RadioReference database. I have monitored the system successfully in the past with a BC245. This time I was using a BC246T, which I later discovered I had programmed improperly (had it set as an EDACS narrow when it should be an EDACS wide). Though I am fairly sure this was the cause of the problem, I was just interested in hearing from someone who monitors this system regularly whether the frequencies and LCN are still the same as are listed in the database (last updated in 2004).

Yep, works fine for me here in Branchburg. The LCN & freq's are just fine (per the database).

While the RR data is correct, I'm about the same distance away from SB as Scott is but receive very little. Could it be that their system just has a limited range?
