I am travelling from raleigh NC to Hilton Head Island SC. I will be on I95. I would like to know what state police freqs worth monitoring while on my drive.

The SC Highway Patrol, and most of the other state agencies are on the Palmetto 800 system, go to that listing on the RR database, and look at the map and tower sites and see which ones you will be most likely to be near, and all the talk groups are listed also. Enjoy your trip!
