South Fla Question

I've had the BCT15X for 2 weeks. Miami-Dade County, Fla. Fairly comfortable, but why does MOT Miami Police come in so clear, but MOT Miami Beach appear so weak and crackly? Also, EDACS Miami-Dade Police is weak, yet Conventional Miami-Dade Fire is super strong.. Any help from the Experts would be appreciated!

That's it in a nutshell - because they are different.
They are farther in distance, one station's audio may be turned up higher than another, one could be wide band, another narrow band, etc., etc., etc.
