Heavy Smoke Showing In The DTC | 5280FIRE
12/05 ~ Just before 08:30 MetCom received multiple 911 calls reported black smoke from the roof of a building at 7600 East Orchard Road. First due Tower 32 reported smoke in the air, then arrived to find heavy smoke showing from a small building atop a parking structure. The fire building was located in an open area between two commercial high rises which were both in a alarm with evacuation in progress. Tower 32 laddered the structure and pulled an attack line with the assistance of several companies. The incident was placed under control in 30 minutes with extensive overhaul needed. No injuries were reported and an investigator was called to the scene.
