South Of The Border Traffic?

Anybody copying the above traffic? Signal strength is Q-4 up near Mt. Palomar.

I'm not copying that, but south of the border traffic on the whole UHF band is one of the reasons the County went to 800 MHz in the mid-1990s. There is no sharing agreement between the US and Mexico for 136-174 and 450-470.

Thanks Don; yes I am aware of the challenges between the two countries. A few years ago, I recall hearing a frantic USFS dispatcher ushering a pilot off a 166.XXXX frequency because of the terrible interference.

For what it is worth, the County has NO infrastructure on the MED channels, because of it.
