South Plainfield Fire/Msex County TRS

Just wondering if anyone has heard anything about SPFD going to the Msex TRS, I saw there TG pop up a couple times today for radio checks.

South Plainfield Fire was the first township agency on the Middlesex County TRS, going as far back as when it was an EDACS system. They normally don't use it due to portable radio coverage issues, even with vehicle repeaters installed. They have 4 or 5 talkgroups allocated for the Fire Dept., but currently have better coverage with their 500 MHz system instead.
