South Texas USAF ACM operations

For those interested in some exciting Air Combat Training, the Crystal MOA has been very active with training here in South Central Texas.

An E-3 AWACS has been coordinating the ACM sorties for the past few days (Sentry-30 and Sentry-60) - Callsigns: CHALICE and DRAGNET

Here are the frequencies that have been active for these sorties

375.825 Houston Center MOA Discrete (fighters check in with the AWACS)
364.200 NORAD AICC (The E-3 checks in with BIGFOOT)

These guys are back up this afternoon.

DRAGNET is Sentry 61 from Tinker

375.825 and 237.150 are for both sets of 2 F-16's being worked via DRAGNET.

Sentry 61 is also up with VINSON encrypted Satcom on 294.075 / 260.475

They are also up on 320.4 UHF as well with Sheriff 1 and DRAGNET

Tanker was on 233.600, 277.300.

It also sounds like the E-3 is transmitting a HAVE QUICK encryption TOD (Time of Day) tone on 287.450 UHF. They are back up this morning and I just heard Kelly SOF announce that the F-16's are now departing out for the MOA.

The E-3 DRAGNET (SENTRY-60) just checked in with BIGFOOT on 364.2 UHF. They switched to 282.600 to do "Training Core Checks" in which DRAGNET gave a target coordinate of 3040N 09823W Sqwaking 7324, which is an American Airlines 757 (N639AA) (confirmed on ADS-B Mode S)
