I see they are going with AES encryption. So much for interoperability.
I also hope they updated the RFP to show that interoperability with Surry is no longer through VHF analog.

I don’t think FD will be encrypted like Surry. Yea it should be interesting with Surry being all encrypted and not wanting to give the keys for interoperability

I wonder if they will be using EFJ Atlas infrastructure? Probably Viking VM7000/VP8000 radios as they meet the specs outlined in the RFP.
