Other than 155.4150 MHz R (PL 131.8 Hz), does Southampton PD use 154.8150 MHz R (PL 141.3 Hz) and/or 154.8450 MHz R (PL 156.7 Hz)? Thanks.

They have (I think) Three channels. I've heard units asking eachother to switch to "PD three." I'm not sure if there's anymore then three channels. But there's deffenatly three.

VHF 154.845 (PL 146.2) is still used by Suffolk County PD 2nd Precinct in Huntington. It's a simulcast of the 800 MHz TRS 2nd precinct talk-group.

Yes, but Southampton Town uses the same frequency, with a PL tone of 156.7 Hz, as their own "PD-3".

Slightly off topic. I'll be in Nassau County, near Garden City in October. Will I hear Suffolk County on the 800 trunk there? How active is the VHF system for the SCPD?

Thanks,

Gary
