Control channel on Abajo Peak is 851.5875. My guess that the 853.2250 is the alternate now that's listed in RRDB

Control channel on Bald Mesa is 851.7500. Haven't heard any traffic on either site as of yet.

Nope. Using a Pro 96.

Voice freqs active for Bald Mesa are 852.8625, 852.3750. Only TG heard was UHP Richfield (49632)

Noticed 851.7500 this weekend in Moab. Heard no traffic but the control channel was STRONG in the Moab area, so probably Bald Mesa. I also noticed Grand County Sheriff Office Dispatch is on 154.115 instead of the old 158.850. Anyone else notice this. I verified all the normal SO traffic on the new freq, 1T units, Arches rangers and some UHP troopers using service at times.

I submitted this change to the DB Admin....don't know how long till the cut over to UCAN.

Nope, just had my scanner, no laptop.

Yes I noticed the change. I still heard 158.850 but as an input and when a deputy is close by. Also I heard ZERO traffic on 172.400 for Arches or 166.325 for Canyonlands. I was in Arches today and a ranger booted some people out of climbing on Balanced Rock. The radio was going nuts but my rig wasn't. Didn't have an opportunity to sleuth that.

851.7500 is listed on the license for Bald Mesa WQQB559.

Some scanners ID the system/Site if u sit on the Control Channel in the trunked bank in the trunking scanner

When I went to Moab a few months back, no 800 channels trunked or otherwise could be heard in downtown Moab , but Woodside to green river and before u drop into Moab, Colorado DTRS came in from Abajo in and out
