southern canada aurora borealis

for all of you dxers in southern canada, (ie. western tip of lake superior through to the maritimes and down towards Toronto ) watch and listen around midnight for the possible aurora borealis to make an appearance. if your like me, and will stay up past midnight with the scanner handy, this probably will be a good night for RF propagation or Tropo on most bands due to the northern lights.

Really??? kool, its about 6:34 ET here, and the sun's about to set in a little bit, so i'l be going out in a bit with the scanner

If you live in an area with little light pollution look to the north after it is dark and you should have a good shot at seeing the northern lights too
