If you want to hear how Mutual Aid DOESN'T work, try the link to San Luis Valley Public Safety. State Patrol, Wildlife, CDOT graders, not to mention nearly every EMS and Fire from 2 counties are currently on this fire. This should be reviewed in an AAP.
They have a huge grass fire blowing through several towns (Sanford, La Jara, Mannasa, Romeo, Double X ranch, T Bone ranch etc) and absolutely no one seems to know who is where, or what units are on this fire.
Radio discipline is completely gone.
